Yet another amazing light by Rey. It was always a dream of mine to also own this flashlight. The Krystal is one of the most beautiful lights on the market and I think it’s on par with lights 4 times the price of this. So many options to choose from at a reasonable price. The bottle it comes in isthe most unique flashlight packaging I’ve ever seen. It’s so awesome to come this way. I love how simplistic the UI is and it’s wonderful! The secondary led is amazing. I love how you have a low, mid and high with the red. This light is so small yet so powerful. Comes with a very nice pocket clip as well. Thank you brother! Jason~Desert Lumens

I have found my flashlight God!! .

    It’s the Kryatal Reylight

I have had my eye on this one for awhile. I tried to stay away but I kept looking at it. So I pulled the trigger.

Well. I am extremely happy i did! I love my TI Dawn 2.1. But this is now my all time favorite light. I’m still going to keep the Dawn in my rotation but the Krystal can not be matched. The look is gorgeous, the feel is heaven, the fit and finish is like Vulcan himself came down from the Roman heavens and forged it himself, It’s godlike.

The attention to detail is perfect. All the right accents in the right places. I also bought the 18650 tube. So now I have both 18650/18350 options for batteries. Again smart move Rey for making it. Right move me for buying it!! The step up design on the 18650 is how I would have designed it. Both lengths fit my hand (med) like a calf skin glove that has been worn for 10 years and it’s molded perfectly to you.

I really like the the unique pattern of the tube. It reminds me of a fine Guilloché pattern , the type that’s only created on the Ferrari of lathes. A 1840’s Holtzspffel & Co Rose engine lathe! I have never seen anything like it. It is amazing how it looks and feels.

The button works great. A little more travel to have a full click. Which is good for pocket carry. The 1/2 press is very easy. It’s a light tap and it moves up to the next mode. I really like this button its on par with Dawn 2.1. No metal to metal, smooth and they are the easiest that i have had the pleasure to use.

The UI is very easy and straightforward. It has a fraction of the choices the dawn offers. Which is good and bad.

    It has 4 configurations.

1 -inside. Without memory, Moon -low-med -high. When inside at night I Want it to start in the moon mode.

2-Outside -. Low -med -high w/memory. Again. I might want memory outside.

    3-tactical mode. High – strobe.

4-secondary led (mine is red) low -high -and 4 more strobes /beacons and the like.

There is also some hidden modes (strobes)

I like the simplicity of it. It covers almost all that i want. The only negative that I can say about the Krystal, it’s a big thing for me. I would add the battery check mode. Its nice to know how much battery life you have left. That’s a feature I like, keep all the strobes, give me battery check!! it’s more useful then 90%of the Strobes. One strobe is fine , the one for tactical. I also think the breathing one in red is actually pretty cool. It’s a slow pulsating /ramping strobe that’s not going to send you into a epileptic seizure. I would get rid of the rest to have battery check.

If you’re on the fence. Don’t be. Buy it!! I think it’s Rey’s best light yet. Yes I would want a red mode to be included in with the mains , I understand that is not possible and I believe, this is the only light on the market where the secondary is powered by the main driver, that’s cool!!

I could go on forever on how incredible this light is.

I give it a 9.999/10 ( Not having Battery check knocks off .0001)
