This is the best light on the market for the money. Communication with Rey was excellent, couldn’t have asked for better service. DHL shipping is worth the extra ~$15, arrived promptly with good tracking.

    Pros
-Stury construction, no rattling or wobble in the 18650 or 18350 configurations. 5/5
    -Stonewash finish is excellent. 5/5
-“Feel” in hand is very premium. 5/5
-Threading is good. No visible burs of any sort, rotations are smooth. At this price point the threading is great, but objectively I would give it a 4/5
-No “seam” line. I honestly thought for the first several minutes that I somehow ordered an 18650-only version (don’t worry when you’re ordering, this isn’t actually an option) because it was so seamless and the machining aligned perfectly. Looks like it’s CNC’d out of a solid bar of titanium even on close inspection. That’s not easy to do when you have a multi-piece tube, definitely a 5/5
-As noted above, one purchase lets you run either an 18650 or an 18350 battery. This is an underrated feature at this price point. 5/5
-O-ring provides a good seal, and good resistance when threading together. 5/5 (I haven’t water tested to verify, but there are reviewers that have attested to the water resistance even when turned on and fully submerged).
-The button is excellent. Very responsive, clean break, and looks great especially with the Tritium inserts. 5/5
-Flush tailcap, very solid tailstand. 5/5
-Clip secures well, almost too well. Fits snugly on a average/thick belt. Finish matches the body, and is replaceable with aftermarket clips if that’s your thing. 4/5
-Easy to use software/UI once you look up how to use it. 5/5
-Very bright beam on high, but no hot spots. 5/5
-Tritium tubes are highly visible, but also very well protected. 5/5
-Rey has the Tritium tube install priced extremely competitively, it would’ve cost me more in materials alone to buy the Tritium and do the install myself. If you’re on the fence about splurging for the Tritium, don’t hesitate, do it. I’m glad I did. 5/5 for pricing and quality of installation

    Cons
-I’m not going to say the clip is ‘too tight’, because it’s great when clipped in a pocket, but it is extremely secure when attached to a belt. I’m not sure if this will ‘loosen’ over time, but decreasing the resistance or increasing the initial gap size on the clip would make it a 5/5
-Can get hot on high for extended durations. That’s true for any machined, solid metal premium light that i’ve dealt with, but it is something to take note of.

Reylight is by far my favorite flashlight maker.

First I would like to say is LOVE my Reylight Triple Ti Dawn 2.1. I am so happy I made the plunge and purchased this light. When I first saw it , I looked at the price. It is much higher than I thought I would ever spend on a torch. After I received it, I knew I made the right decision. I would buy it again In a heart beat. This is a light that can be passed down. Strange to hear In regards to a flashlight, but this Is that special.

First thing I noticed was the weight. I’m sure your thinking “yeah yeah it’s light, Its titanium” no, Its heavy, it has heft to it. This is a good thing because it’s made from a single bar of grade 5 titanium and Rey didn’t machine all of It away. The body tube Is thick. No skimping here. Then you look at the lens. Which is made of synthetic sapphire (9 moths hardness scale), let me tell you that this is the most scratch resistant lens you can buy. It’s the same material that is used on high end Swiss watches. Synthetic Colorless sapphire is so hard and scratch resistant that it’s what is used for the scanner when you check out at the grocery store. It’s the only thing hard enough to take the beating of canned goods all day. The only thing that is harder is a diamond. Very impressive! The knurl pattern is very grippy and I have no concern using it In a blizzard wearing gloves. When in 18350 mode Its very small, juts over 81mm. When the 18650 extension tube is added the alignment is perfect. The seam Is almost Impossible to see, if you did not know it had the extension, you would never know. Even looking closely when you know it’s two pieces it’s impossible to see a seam. The thought behind this was well executed.

I can only Speak about mine but the knurl squares line up every time perfectly, I must tell you that the first couple times I put it together I made a conscious effort to align them. I adjusted where i started the threads so if not aligned they were just shy of alignment when snug. Then made it a little tighter to push it to align correctly (only like 1/2 square width max). This caused the threads to have a memory to this placement and now it naturally goes to a smidge shy of being perfect, then I just tighten snug and it’s like one tube. I’m OCD when It comes to this type of thing and was worried. Since doing his a couple times I don’t think about it and it’s perfect every single time. Again I can only talk about mine.

The Craftsmanship, the materials used , the fit and finish could not be finer. The design is extremely well thought out. No details were overlooked. Im in love with this light. I carry it daily using a 18350 and the pocket clip is very snug and I don’t worry about it coming loose. The button Is butter smooth, no crunchy metal to metal, responsive no matter where i press. This Is he best button I have seen or used. I could go on and on about this light. I highly recommend this and all ReyLights. Rey Ye and Yeu Don nailed this.

I try to support small companies. It’s not always easy to find a good one because they usually come with a high price point and they can be inconsistent in quality. A big one is if problems arise, no worries with ReyLight. Rey Ye ‘Rey” and Yeu Don give the best customer service I have seen in a long time. They really stands behind their product and will makes it right without hassles. I’m so happy I found Reylight. Such incredible flashlights with extremely reasonably priced are coming from this 2 man shop. I will be a customer for life, I have no doubt that I will recommend them to my friends and family. I can’t give a higher recommendation! Stop looking and buy from the best…Reylight!!’
